The vote for seven natural wonders of the world was launched by New Open World all over the world. Vietnam's Ha Long Bay was honored to be in the list of 28 last applicants which would be polled to find out seven natural wonders and was announced on November 11th, 2011.

In order to meet society's demands on education as well as training and distribute the development of human resources in service of glasses locally and internationally; on Saturday morning (15th Oct 2011) at the meeting-hall A803, there was the Opening Ceremony of Optical Ophthalmology – cohort 1 and MOU Signing Ceremony between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Bradford College (the United Kingdom).

In the morning of 19th November 2011, at District 4's Stadium – HCMC, Nguyen Tat Thanh University held The Opening Ceremony for New School Year as well as welcoming Vietnamese Teacher's Day and received Government's Emulation Flag. The program had been live broadcasting on VTV9 Channel from 9am to 10am.
